During the first part of the Autumn season, there are many warblers, vireos, flycatchers and other songbirds migrating south in Saskatchewan. Later in September and October, we are treated to large flocks of Snow Geese, Ross’s Geese, Canada Geese, Cackling Geese and Greater White-fronted Geese. Sandhill Cranes are also present in immense flocks. These birds are impressive to watch and offer great opportunities for the bird photographer.
