Bird Song Identification Outdoor Workshops – 4 special sessions ♿

BIRD SONG ID WORKSHOPS ♿

Become a Better Birder

Expert birders identify most birds in any habitat using song identification. Some birds can only be safely identified by voice. You can learn to identify bird songs too!

Bird Song ID Workshops
Ovenbird singing – by May Haga

Join in our spring series of Bird Song ID workshops designed to improve your skills at identification of common bird songs in the prairie provinces. Our workshops are arranged by habitat. Each one will focus on a small group of songbirds found in a given habitat at a particular time of year. Tips will be given for properly using the Merlin Song ID feature.

The Bird Song ID outdoor sessions will involve a 1.5-hour walk in a habitat where many of the target species might be singing. Note that the date for some outdoor sessions might need to be changed due to stormy weather or other reasons.

This Bird Song ID workshop series also makes a great Mother’s Day gift,  Father’s Day gift, Birthday gift,  anniversary gift or graduation gift for the birding enthusiast in your family.

♿ Many of the outdoor sessions are wheel-chair accessible.

Workshop Fee: CAD $45 per person for each bird song ID workshop or CAD $145 per person for entire series of 4  (a savings of $45).
