The cover of the calendar features an image of Yosemite Sam, a Costa’s Hummingbird. This never before seen in Saskatchewan stray bird arrived in Saskatoon late in October 2022. It would have perished if it was not rescued and taken into care at Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation. We cared for this spectacular bird over the entire winter and released it back into the wild in the following summer.
